Morfologia
It is in fact a Doline about 6 metres long by 3 wide and 2.5 deep, opening near the contact between the limestones and the black schists.
Idrologia
Its particularity is due to the fact that in wet periods two small "underground" streams plunge into it. These brooks come from Un flow over the schists under the forest's vegetation cover (approx. -2 m) until meeting the limestone.
Progressione
Un start of digging, made difficult by water and mud, allowed us to glimpse a shaft that seems about ten metres deep. Digging in progress (2013).
Altri dettagli
This shaft-sinkhole is therefore one of the most interesting cavities, for the moment, as regards Un hope of continuation.
