Cavity in the Aizpillaga limestone pavement, with an entrance of 0.5 x 0.7 metres giving access to a 4-metre pit-crack and a gallery filled with clay and silt.

Località

The cavity is located within the area of Aizpillaga, which lies to the northwest. It is reached from Maatzaoko Bidea heading northwest, about 900 metres from the Maatzao dolmen. Its entrance opens, within a limestone pavement with large limestone blocks, at the base of one of these blocks. To its left, about 3 metres away, another entrance opens which we surmise corresponds to the same cavity.

Morfologia

An entrance of 0.5 x 0.7 metres gives access to a 4-metre pit-crack opened in bedrock. A gallery filled with clay and silt ends by narrowing, preventing continuation.
