L'Abîme de Maramoye, in the Turonian rudist limestones, opens via a 22-metre collapse shaft giving access to three networks.
Descrizione
Morfologia
At the entrance, a large 22-metre collapse shaft leads to 3 networks.
The first network, 41 metres, is a vast scree cone with a large joint-controlled chamber over about 40 metres.
Opposite, the second network begins with a boîte aux lettres followed by a 10-metre network, then reaches a large sloping chamber that continues into a P18 ending at the top of a vast scree slope descending to -110.
The third network is the upper Vire network, located at -50: a slightly ascending network 152 metres long, made up of a vast Galerie and chambers.
Concrezioni
The GSP network includes a vast Galerie interspersed with gours. The Galerie des excentriques owes its name to its contents.
Idrologia
The GSP network ends with a Galerie and a sumping water table at -140.
Progressione
The second network has 4 branches. On the right, the « clan éole » network (L: 234 m) is a joint-controlled Galerie interspersed with 3 small shafts, with a stop at an ascending 60-metre shaft. Opposite, an impenetrable boulder choke with 2 chambers. On the left, the GSP network: after a long meander, a series of 3 chatières gives access to a vast Galerie interspersed with gours. Before the end of the scree slope, a climb, explored in early 1998 by the SCT, gives access to a succession of ascending shafts and chambers of varying size: the Galerie des excentriques. In the main Galerie, several more or less significant lateral networks can be counted. The upper Vire network begins with a vire to be rigged from the top of the 2nd 18-metre shaft.
